Unspecified Job ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and implement for manufacturing the required equipment, fixtures, tooling, gaging, processes, or specifications for production. Such design and development may include new or revised processes.Identify and execute process and product improvements, as well as review of manufacturability of existing and future product in alignment with key process indicators (KPI's) such as yield, cost and scrap.Implement continuous improvement initiatives of manufacturing equipment and processes in work cells utilizing lean principles such as: 5S Workplace Organization, Error Proofing, Total Productive Maintenance, Kanban/Pull Systems, Set-Up Reduction (SMED), Standard Work, Value Stream Mapping, and Visual Factory.Designs arrangement of machines within plant facilities to ensure most efficient and productive layout. Proposes the sequence of operations and installations and specifies procedures for the fabrication of tools and equipment and other processes, which may include disassembly/assembly and repairs, to ensure efficiency and optimize performance. Checks and validates that mandatory modifications, programs, and bulletins are incorporated or complied with, as required by the customer and the applicable regulatory requirements, to ensure legal compliance and adherence to quality standards.Basic Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in electronics, mechatronics or mechanical engineering or any other related field.
