Amazon Transportation Services (ATS) is looking for a dynamic, detail-oriented, analytical, technically skilled, innovative, hands-on, and customer-obsessed to join as Transportation Program Manager for MM First Leg program which is responsible of executing supply chain´s transportation plan for Outbound Loads across Mexico FCs network, planning transportation operations with contracted carriers handling challenging operational issues that will require a deep analysis of our distribution network, hands-on problem solving mentality and a tenacity to execute solutions that will impact short term and long term operations. You will closely work with and involve functional teams to achieve best in class solutions. You will drive performance measures, find solutions to complex logistics problems, pursue strategic, commercial and operational initiatives by managing innovation projects together with our carriers and across our constantly expanding Mexico´s Transportation Network.
Finally, you will be dealing with the inevitable challenges that come with continuous, rapid growth and a dynamic environment. Program management operations will be the main scope of this role, leading projects to optimize and accelerate transportation operations with the goal to drive competitive logistics solutions (customer experience, speed, technology, cost). An ideal candidate should be able to work in a fast-paced environment where change is the only stable element, you will make operational decisions in real time to guarantee the proper functioning of the transportation network in Mexico.
Key job responsibilities
• Development of the overall program strategy, tactically driving teams in and outside of your organization to deliver The Transportation Program Manager drives tactical solutions to drive competitive logistics solutions (customer experience, speed, technology, cost).
• Partner with customers, internal/external teams to determine what projects move forward and in what priority order.
• Oversee gaps between teams, processes and systems, helping teams reduce exposure to classic failure modes (e.g., requirements not sufficiently understood or documented, ineffective cross-team collaboration, long-term impact(s) from third-party solutions, security not considered, insufficient stakeholder review, etc.)
• Solve ambiguous problems and proactively identify and mitigate risks (before they become roadblocks)
• Work with other program managers, business leaders and executive team to communicate and impact critical business initiatives.
• Develop, implement, KPI reporting providing visibility to the milestones, and performance across Warehouse Transportation Operations and projects.
• Roll up your sleeves and do whatever is necessary; general manager / owner mentality.

Mexico City, DIF, MEX BASIC QUALIFICATIONS - 3+ years of program or project management experience
- 3+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
- 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
- Spanish and English Fluent
