Together, we are building a better world, so we can all enjoy living in it.**About the Role**Analyzes and develops transportation plans to control the movement of commodities throughout a manufacturing or distribution network to ensure the smooth running of operations at optimal transportation cost levels.**What You Will Do**- Analyzing transportation plans and identifying opportunities for improvements to meet client needs.- Implementing and maintaining monitoring systems to provide information on shipment status, shipped date, in transit location, estimated arrival date, and actual delivery date.- Generating and analyzing reports of transportation costs, carrier performance and lead times.- Assisting in the development of process flows to track lead time by activity and providing solutions to reduce lead times.- Maintain effective on-going relationships with external Customers such as Global Carriers, Freight Forwarders, Customs Brokerage and Air Freight Providers**What You Have - Skills and Experiences**In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute your unique skills and experiences.
