WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION: Provide expertise and leadership across nVent Mexico to identify, design, and implement training initiatives that align with business strategies
Lead and implement the training and learning activities in Mexico operations, including Compliance and, on-the job training as needed
Responsible for planning, organizing, documenting, and coordinating all training activities
Partner with functional leads on the establishment and facilitation of employee training needs including new employee orientation, leadership development and cross-training while leading the local talent development processes
Partner with leadership teams to create and implement actions or projects for stronger and cost effective workforce planning and management, including organizational planning as well as employee development and engagement ensuring alignment to nVent's culture
Implement and drive Human Resources initiatives including but not limited to labor relationship, performance management, compensation practices, HR policies and practices, and full employee life cycle processes
Responsible for leading all aspects of employee relations and investigations on employee complaints that could result in legal ramifications or organizational exposure; assess the severity, involve appropriate individuals and facilitate appropriate action based on established practice and relevant laws
Responsible for all regional communications, policies and employee guidelines to achieve goals and fulfill legal requirements
Promote and champion the nVent Continuous Improvement culture through an empowering, open minded and proactive approach and by acting as a motivator for organizational change
May be required to perform additional duties as assigned
YOU HAVE: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Human Resources/Business or related field
5+ years previous experience in or with human resources including demonstrated ability leading people
Proven experience with organization design, leadership development, and organisational change
Strong collaborating, problem solving, and analytical skills
Ability to work in a global and cross-functional environment in a highly collaborative manner
Capability to lead multiple assignments, with proven track record to assess opposing priorities in a fast paced environment
Bi-lingual highly preferred
Manufacturing experienced preferred
