Scope
Supervises the supply chain team in the absence of the Supply Chain manager, and direct supervision of the customer service associates.
Main activities
Supply Chain Manager: Collaborate closely to align strategies, discuss operational improvements, and provide regular updates on key supply chain initiatives.
Supply Chain Team: Work closely with supply chain team in continuous improvement efforts and to ensure efficient use of resources and meeting customer satisfaction and service metrics.
New Product Launch Team: Works closely with the New Product Launch (NPL) team to understand the requirements and support timeliness for meeting launch dates. Ensure alignment between the teams to address any potential issues for Albea or for the customer.
Accountability including KPIs
Improved customer service: Increased customer satisfaction scores through optimized customer service activities and cross training of customer service associates. Timely resolution of customer inquiries and issues, alignment of customer scorecards with internal KPI results of OTIF and CSAT.
Enhance compliance to customer agreements: Proactively monitored and ensured compliance with customer logistics agreements, leading to improved fulfillment of obligations, and strengthened relationships with key customers.
Transparent documentation and records keeping: Documented logistics agreements in SAP or designated repository.
Efficient resource utilization: Collaborate successfully with production, production planning, new product launch team, and purchasing teams, resulting in efficient scheduling and utilization of resources. Ensures seamless coordination between different departments.
Optimal inventory management: Manages inventory levels to meet DIO targets without compromise to service metrics and with a strong focus on preventing obsolete stocks.
Continuous Improvement: Identifies opportunities for process improvements within the supply chain and recommends cost effective solutions aligned with organizational goals. Implements enhancements to supply chain processes, leading to increased efficiency and improved customer satisfaction.
Strong internal relationships: Fosters strong relationships with internal teams, resulting in effective collaboration and streamlined supply chain operations. Facilitates as required communication and coordination among different departments to achieve common supply chain and operational goals.
Profile (Experience & qualifications)
Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or related field.
Proven experience of 3-5 years in supply chain management with a focus on customer service, production planning, and continuous improvement.
Proficient in using supply chain management software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
Excellent communications in English and Spanish, and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with interna teams and external stakeholders.
Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze data, and make data driven decisions to improve supply chain operations.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Demonstrated problem solving skills to address challenges and implement solutions in a fast-paced environment.
Attention to detail and accuracy in documenting logistics agreements and ensuring compliance.
Adapt to changing priorities and work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines.
