Now is your opportunity to shape the future of passive safety technologies together with us!**_¡Come and join to the Passive Safety Systems Division as _**_Sr Technology Cost Engineer (This position can be located in La Laguna, Chihuahua or Reynosa Plant)!_****_Position Summary_**Challenging, consulting, support and training counter functions and suppliers to bring best component prices to maximize profitability and cost savings for DIV R**_Responsibilities_**- Cost/tooling/investment/emission calculations (BPG/BPB/CEI/BPI) on component level- Cost-Down workshops at supplier (PPV improvement) and on-site validations- Quote and Gap analysis as well as the development of gap closure recommendations- Deep collaboration with Commodity Purchasing (e.g. demonstration and negotiation of Cost structures with suppliers; contribution to SAB/SDB)- Deep Support of PCEs (Product Cost Engineers) in component calc.
