And if that's you we would love to have you join us!**Job Description**:**Job Scope**:Leading a team of Commodity Managers and Buyers, develop, implement, and manage global sourcing strategies and supply for a portfolio of commodities. Achieve year-on-year improvement in total cost, quality, and service while leading regional and global supply management activities including risk mitigation and managing supplier relationships for a portfolio of commodities. Leadership of cross-functional strategic sourcing teams and accountable for execution and implementation of Commodity Sourcing Strategies.Plans and implements activities related to procurement, inventory control, planning and quality control of production materials. Ensures the availability of materials in the supply chain, as scheduled, and the maintenance of inventory at minimum acceptable levels. Responsible for sourcing and supplying raw materials, utilities, and outside services, as well coordinating global procurement efforts. May work with customers in auditing customer inventory levels and with internal and external vendors to comply with inventory policies. Hires, develops, and evaluates performance of employees.**Key Responsibilities**:- With guidance from the Director Strategic Sourcing, develop the sourcing strategy for assigned commodities, using input from the sourcing team and key global/regional stakeholders within the business units. The sourcing strategy will drive the continuous improvement of Rockwell's Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) for the assigned commodities.- Drive implementation of the sourcing strategy for assigned commodities. Once a sourcing strategy has been developed, the Manager will communicate, monitor, and aggressively manage business unit compliance of the strategy. The Manager will also establish working relationships with other functions (e.g., Engineering, Plant Operations, Supplier and Product Quality, etc.), bringing a Strategic Sourcing perspective to all key processes.- Leadership of strategic sourcing teams. The Manager will lead and drive results of specific strategic sourcing strategies within assigned commodities and must be successful at managing and influencing a cross-functional team. The Manager will act as a catalyst for change to achieve business goals as well as addressing barriers to change. The Manager will hire, train, motivate and coach employees, and assess employee performance.- Develop an expertise in the business unit and/or corporate function needs and capabilities for commodities. The Manager partners with business units and functions to understand their goals and objectives and formulates strategies to achieve desired business results. On an ongoing basis, the Manager will remain current on supply market trends, supplier economics, and best practice sourcing.- Responsible for Global Supplier Management. The Manager will monitor and evaluate supplier performance around quality, delivery, lead time of all suppliers. Conduct regular strategic business reviews with suppliers and stakeholders to ensure continuous improvement of the supply base.- Measure and track performance on Sourcing KPIs within each commodity. The Manager will be responsible for monthly reporting to senior management on key performance indicators within the supply chain. The KPI's may include savings, quality, delivery, lead time, market trends, etc.- Identify and implement Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) reduction opportunities for assigned commodities or services. Within the business unit or function, the Manager will champion annual productivity improvements by leading internal and joint supplier/unit teams pursuing TCO reduction opportunities in alignment with the sourcing strategy (e.g. lowering inventory levels, increasing yields, improving supplier operations, demand management, improving supply chain flexibility, etc.).**Preferred Qualifications**- ** Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field**:- Typically requires 5+ years of experience working in strategic sourcing or an operations discipline in a manufacturing and/or industrial environment- ** Travel**:20% (Domestic & International)- Basic knowledge of commodities (Direct / Indirect, depending on role), supply management practices and analytics- People manag
