**Job Description Summary**:**Role Summary/Purpose**This role is responsible for providing reliable data analysis, financial insights, and projections for the GE Vernova Indirect Sourcing organization to be used in decision-making and planning to include preparing accurate financial reports, assist in the preparation of presentations that provide thoughtful insights, identify action items, and effectively frame decisions that need to be made. This role partners with the Indirect Sourcing Executive and FP&A Leader to drive cost visibility and optimization while focusing on process improvement and plays a critical part in driving key strategic and horizontal initiatives and supporting daily operational and financial activities. This role will need to influence and collaborate with the broader FP&A team, Indirect Sourcing, Supply Chain and Manufacturing teams as well as the Digital Technology and Engineering organizations. This role requires a strong operational mindset and in-depth understanding of the power market, power generation products, and the global supply chain functions. This role will establish relationships by building trust with internal and external stakeholders and developing and executing strategies to meet business outcomes.**Essential Responsibilities**- Partner with the GE Vernova Indirect Sourcing Operation Executive for planning, forecasting, and pacing indirect savings for over $4B+ of yearly spend- Maintain the operational rhythm for tracking spend for all indirect commodity categories while supporting variance analysis vs plan and identification of Risk and Opportunities- Support updates for operational metrics to drive optimization of the spend- Connect with business finance teams across GE Vernova to ensure consistency of the indirect savings reported within overall GE Vernova financials and within each Tier 2 and 3 P&Ls- Lead budget, forecasting, and reporting for the GE Vernova Indirect Sourcing organization functional costs- Support Finance transformation agenda to automate, outsource and streamline processes for reporting financials of Indirect Sourcing- Escalate any financial issues to management- Set and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and objects related to Indirect Sourcing financials- Complete market research and comparable company analysis- Recommend strategies for increasing financial performance**Qualifications/Requirements**- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college, or equivalent experience/ knowledge- Major experience in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent consulting experience- Demonstrated experience in Finance- Demonstrated ability to influence in a matrixed organization- For roles not in USA, this role requires significant experience comparable to a Bachelors' degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma with relevant experience), or equivalent experience/ knowledge- For roles in USA, this role requires a Bachelors' degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with major experience in job family group/function)**Desired Characteristics**- MBA or Bachelors' degree in Finance or Accounting, or equivalent experience/ knowledge- Strong Finance or Accounting experience in a multinational company to include preferred graduate of finance management leadership programs (e.g., FMP)- Excellent communication, negotiating and influencing skills at all levels of the organization- Strong project and time management skills and able to work under pressure to document, plan, market, and execute programs- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems- Ability to build strong working relationships and has exceptional leadership skills tom include cross-functional and organization engagement- Strong analytical skills (Spend analytics, should-cost analysis, market R&I)- Experience in Procurement processes and system integration projects- Demonstrated customer focus - evaluates decisions through the eyes of the customer; builds strong customer relationships; creates processes with customer viewpoint; partners with customers to help shape their future initiatives.- Change oriented - actively generates process improvements; champions and drives change initiatives; confronts difficult circumstances in creative ways, balances multiple and competing priorities and executes accordingly.- Comfortable with a broad range of research tools and technologies, analytics, and financial analysis to include advance experience in Microsoft suite- Experience with external benchmarking to drive next level process improvements- Strong track record for implementing change and delivering results- Demonstrated negotiation skills**GE Vernova: Leading a New Era of Energy**Addressing the climate crisis is an urgent global priority.
