DNV is undergoing a substantial expansion in power price forecasting throughout Latin America and is looking to reinforce its current team covering Colombia. The candidate will be integrated into a dynamic team with a clear mandate to grow in market coverage and scope of work. DNV's power price forecasting activity is structured around internal processes and tools that combine a fundamental approach (dispatch models) with statistical and artificial intelligence methods to understand and replicate the market agents' interaction with the different power and ancillary services markets. We seek an experienced Engineer (Spanish speaker) with a keen interest in Energy, experience in software, and knowledge in programming languages (Python, VBA), and SQL is mandatory. The position will be based in Mexico City. Applicants with Colombia market knowledge who are willing to relocate to Mexico are welcome to apply.
