Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.+5 years of proven experience developing Android applications in Java and/or Kotlin.Solid understanding of Android SDK, Android Studio, and related development tools.Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party libraries and APIs.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.Experience with Agile development methodologies is a plus.Published apps on the Google Play Store is a plus.Advanced English Level. Job Responsibilities: Experience building Android apps in JavaExperience deploying Android appsExperience writing design docsExperience triaging and managing bugs/tasks independently and monitoring the health of an appBuild and push monthly releases, manage all aspects of this processMonitor and fix build related issuesHandle escalations, bugs mandates, etc as they come upAdd new features into the app as requestedThis includes researching and designing how to implement the new features within the app and working with Currents eng to safely launch the new featuresIdeally someone senior who can manage the day-to-day tasks of owning a mobile client and also make prioritization decisions for incoming bugs.Expecting weekly check-ins and will have a group chat for questions that come in in between.
