S&T Product Development Chemist

As a Product Development Chemist, you will be part of a technical team responsible for product development of polyurethane, polysiloxane, polyaspartic and other high weatherable topcoats in both technology segments.You will report to S&T Product Development Supervisor.**Key Responsibilities**- Supply to technical solutions to challenging problems with a mindset- Create new or improved products with chemistries including polyurethane, polysiloxane and polyaspartic in solvent-based and water-based technologies - for Heavy Duty Protective and Marine markets- Work with manager in setting SMART project goals and timelines- Share ancillary tasks such as equipment maintenance and calibration, ordering raw materials and lab supplies, competitor benchmarking and other testing, and other support responsibilities.- Familiarity with production scale-up, launches, and maintenance of products.
