If you like to make things happen and are passionate about what you do, you're going to want to be here.Join us and become part of the power behind possible.ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY**Position Summary**Develops, coachs-to, and executes processes that enhance supplier quality.**Essential to this Position**- Support manufacturing test runs/correlation studies.- Update documentation in the QMS.- Perform calibration control for measuring equipment.- Conduct on-site calibrations.- Manage calibrations with external suppliers.- Support the implementation and maintenance of the quality system (help in procedure and work instruction).- Identify the need for assembly fixtures, go/no-go gauges, evaluate error proof in the production area.- Act as internal auditor.- Update product guidelines.- Support in claims to intercompany ZIP complaints and in supplier complaints.- Create, support and monitor HOLD/WIP tickets.- Complete customer service at the Silao ORBIS plant and at customer facilities.- Support in rework coordination.- Actively participate in continuous improvement, it is expected to promote and maintain any continuous improvement, 5S and worksheet activities.EDUCATION / CERTIFICATIONS**Education Required**Bachelor's Degree**Education Desired**Bachelor's DegreeSKILLS & EXPERIENCE**Work Experience Required**2 years experienceADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS- Safety sensitive position - ability to work in a constant state of alertness and a safe manner- Ability to handle the stress of working with others- Ability to be available outside of normal work hours- Ability to assess employee performance and coach and develop others- Ability to lead by example- Ability to interact and communicate effectively with a wide variety of roles- Ability to communicate, develop and positively influence other non-union personnel without direct authority- Knowledge and use of quality tools- Ability to develop skills to document procedures, work instruction and product quality- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Suite.ABOUT ORBIS CORPORATIONJoin ORBIS Corporation where we are all about the power behind possible!
