About the Role: As a QA Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our clients' projects. Here are the key responsibilities:
Serve as the QA owner for clients' projects, handling primary communication and planning related to QA activities.Act as the local leader at our Guadalajara office.Manage team leadership, focusing on continuous improvement in quality and efficiency.Initiate discussions, mentor team members, and facilitate team meetings.Participate in QA consultancy engagements.Design and execute test plans, strategies, cases, and scripts across various platforms (mobile, web, smart TV, game console) to ensure exceptional product quality aligned with business objectives.Serve as a point of escalation for quality-related issues.Participate in governance activities.Take ownership of QA Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and drive relevant initiatives.Provide guidance to support team growth and development.Train new employees on platform compliance, test automation, and planning.Define and maintain best Quality Assurance Engineering (QAE) procedures and standards.Cover aspects such as test planning, tool usage, and test automation.Conduct one-on-one meetings, set goals, and perform performance reviews.Promote and act in alignment with Accedo's core values.Location: This role is based in Guadalajara, Mexico. We welcome candidates interested in hybrid work, but they must be located in Guadalajara or willing to relocate there. Requirements: 5+ years of professional experience as a client-facing QA manager/lead for projects involving a distributed team.At least 2 years of QA leadership experience.Good business acumen to understand the organization's goals and align QA processes accordingly.In-depth knowledge of the Video/Streaming industry and relevant technologies.
