Purchasing Quality Engineer Senior - Stamping Full-time Purchasing Management Quality is responsible for all tasks regarding preventive quality planning (VQP/ VQS), has the responsibility for technical release (part, process, machine, tooling), is the technical contact person for the supplier for preventive quality activities, supports Project Purchasing in general quality issues, is member of Simultaneous Engineering team with decision-making mandate for Quality until QG5 (End of the stabilization phase around new projects). Main activities: Responsible for projects with a high risk classification (A projects) Preventive Quality Planning Preventive Quality Execution / Assurance (Process release, PFMEA review) Release for purchased components, Approves PPAP/PPAP. National and International trips (Process Release, run&rate,) Preventive Quality elements for each component and supplier based on the understood cause and effect relationships (e.g. DRBFM-systematic)Special Characteristics under consideration of the complete value (supply) chain With engineering and manufacturing in Simoultaneous Engineering-Team (documented in Central Directives DQ0301 list or CDQ0306) Integrates supplier feedback regarding manufacturability and testing concept Integrates Leassons Learned from Plant Quality Assurance (PQA) into Important Characteristic List (ICL)Supplier in regards Quality Feasibility and makes decision which suppliers can be awardedSampling agreements & sampling requirements Signs Legal Documentation on behalf of Bosch (Part Submission Warrants) Triggers and releases the measuring comparison activities before initial sampling (measuring done by PQA). Conciliation needed with Supplier, Bosch Engineering, Manufacturing (MSE), Quality Management and Methods (QMM), Plant Quality Assurance (PQA) Content wise of P-FMEA, Control Plan and Traceability concept developed by Supplier Very frecuent Domestic and International travelling to: 1) execute preventive quality actions with supplier (Audits, Tool Concept reviews, Process Releases,RunRates, etc.); 2) PPAP evaluation and signature of Legal documentation; 3) Management of Safe Launch activities Safe Launch activities (Early Production Containment &RunRate) in cooperation with Supplier and Plant Quality Assurance (PQA) & Lessons Learned from previous projects Main contact with the BU in case of escalation issue and coordinate the team in several Problem Solving Tools such as 8D's, Ishikawa, 5 Why, SigSigma, Shanin (Task Forces) REQUIRED SKILLS - Good knowledge and experience with quality methods and tools (PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC), especially with preventive quality planning (PQP). - Experience with manufacturing processes (plastic injection molding, electro mechanical assemblies, stamping and - Bachelor's degree or higher with engineering background. - Fluency in written and spoken English - analytic, systematic and solution-oriented working style - High interpersonal skills, ability to work in a team, motivation and assertiveness - Willingness to travel up to 40% (within and outside the home country) PREFERRED SKILLS - Advance technical know-how in complex Stampings or Laminations processes and welding o 3-5 years of experience o exposure to tooling development and design. o Demonstrated ability to teach others. - Experience in database management, software programming and AI Additional Information Get to know more about how we work at Bosch and our new open positions on our social networks: J-18808-Ljbffr
