The role of Project Engineer is crucial for the actual development of the product sold by ABB. You will make technical recommendations in various phases of customer projects to ensure successful delivery of project deliverables on time, within budget and in line with quality and safety guidelines.**This position reports to**:Engineering Manager I**Your responsibilities**:- Assisting project managers and project lead engineers in technical reviews and discussions with customers, partners, subcontractors and vendors.- Assisting contract managers with claims, customer specifications and safety standards.- Creating and delivering the work plan and budget, as well as risk assessments relevant to your engineering discipline.- Helping customers resolve technical issues both remotely and at customer sites in Mexico.- Developing your management and communication skills by working with entry-level employees.- Maintaining and enhancing customer satisfaction by providing excellent service at all stages of the project.**Your background**:- Bachelor´s in Electrical Engineering (desirable), Electro-Mechanical, Mechanical-Electrician Engineering or similar.- Sound knowledge of engineering techniques, processes and tools, including deep knowledge of Electrical Engineering.- A strong focus on safe work practices and dedication to following all relevant workplace safety guidelines.- A high level of self-motivation, curiosity and desire to learn about new technologies.- Knowledge in Medium Voltage Outdoor Products.- A collaborative, solution-focused approach, and strong written and spoken communication skills.- Design and AutoCAD proficiency.- Proficiency in E-plan is a plus.- SAP Proficiency is a plus.- Advanced English.**More about us**:
