With its products, the company contributes to reducing emissions, protecting the climate and enhancing safe mobilityWe are looking for a new colleague in the Divisional Quality Department at our location in El Marques.**Position overview**: The primary role of the Production Quality is to promote quality achievement and performance improvement throughout the organization for all Brake Controls Manufacturing Facilities. Develop, implement, communicate and maintain a quality plan to bring the Company's Quality System and Policies into compliance with customer specific and internal requirements. Effectively interact with plants and cross functional teams to establish and maintain standards. Support manufacturing facilities for critical issue resolution, customer communication, product launches, corrective action review, read across, and supplier and warranty critical issues. Manage Quality team members responsible for TS16949 certifications, IMDS, and metric tracking to assure the quality standards are achieved.**Essential functions and responsibilities**:- Monitor and control plant and corporate Quality performance- Identify gaps and weaknesses and prioritize corrective actions- Ensure all plants are populating QSYS for every customer 0mileage concern- Monitor and track mandatory content like containment, close off verification and due time.- Identify, prioritize gaps and install corrective actions.- Frequently monitor site concerns and issues and rank them for potential "read across".- Actively monitor and drive site response into "Read Across" System- Identify "lessons learned" for future projects and feed into Engineering/AME- Audit of each of previous years YH/HIS to ensure PCA's and Plant Level Read Across are efficiently executed and implemented- Maintain regional and global NCT tracking file weekly- Perform annual review of relevant customer specific requirements including organizations like AIAG, VDA- Prioritize launch risks for projects in clarity and ensure plants executing readiness audits per ZF TRW standards- Tracking of red and yellow launch metrics and drive Quality/Plant action items to closure- Direct customer representative; interface for required customer activities. Maintain and/or improve customer satisfaction levels.- Drive continuous improvement activities via reviews with plants- Manage quality support staff activities for internal and external TS16949, customer audits, IMDS activity and metric tracking**Other duties and responsibilities**:- Lead or participate in special cross-functional teams or site-specific initiatives.**Education/experience**:Required:- Bachelors Degree in Engineering or related field.- Several years' progressive experience in quality or operations managementPreferred:- Green Belt or equivalent- Multi-discipline experience helpful.Other skills/abilities:- Required:- Knowledge of materials, processes and product coupled with experience in quality principles and theory, and statistical methods.- Must have excellent PC, communication and human relations skills with the ability to cross multiple levels of the organization.- Excellent interpersonal and coaching skills.- Strong analytical, problem solving, communication, and presentation skills- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop quality staff members.- Demonstrated ability to serve as a successful participant on a management team that provides company leadership and direction.- Demonstrated ability to interact effectively at all levels- Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment.- Demonstrates attitude of accessibility a
