Principal Network Consultant

Principal Network Consultant 1. Deep knowledge and understanding of both the network architecture and operations. 2. Experience with LAN/WAN design and implementation. 3. Develop and maintain detailed technical documentation. 4. Experience with Next Generation Firewalls (Cisco Firepower preferred). 5. Advanced knowledge of wireless networking management, deployment, and testing. 6. Microsoft Teams and telephony experience. 7. SolarWinds administration and monitoring/response experience. 8. SolarWinds automation experience. 9. Ability to travel in the United States with a valid US visa if required. 2. Scope Provide Network Services consultants who work under the direction and supervision of the Network Services Manager. The consultants will work side-by-side with existing client team to ensure successful delivery of network services. Scope includes but is not limited to: · Daily proactive maintenance activities within both environments. (e.g. addressing monitoring alerts, configuration changes, switch OS upgrades, etc.). · Management and development of monitoring systems. (e.g., SolarWinds environment). · New technology reviews/implementations. · Change management and implementation within both the networks. (e.g., firewalls, VPN changes, etc.) · Internal/external stakeholder support (internal support tickets, external customer requests, etc.) · Customer new business implementations (designs, reviews, configurations, deployments, etc.) · All other daily functions carried out by Network Services Team. · Occasional, onsite travel US locations, expected to be less than six times per year Education · Network Certification Preferred · University Degree Preferred J-18808-Ljbffr J-18808-Ljbffr J-18808-Ljbffr
