Planning Supervisor

**_What Manufacturing Planning contributes to Cardinal Health_**Operations is responsible for materials handling and product distribution in a distribution or manufacturing environment. Includes warehousing and fulfillment of materials and products, transportation, inventory management as well as demand, supply and manufacturing planning.Manufacturing Planning is responsible for the forecasting, planning and scheduling of manufacturing resources, including equipment and labor resources to efficiently achieve manufacturing goals as defined by internal and external customer expectations. Responsible for distribution of finished goods. Addresses conflicts and constraints in manufacturing to achieve highest level of customer satisfaction.**_Qualifications_**- 4-8 years of experience- BA, BS or equivalent experience in related field**_What is expected of you and others at this level_**- Coordinates and supervises the daily activities of operations or business staff- Administers and exercises policies and procedures- Ensures employees operate within guidelines- Decisions have a direct impact to work unit operations and customers- Frequently interacts with subordinates, customers, and peer groups at various management levels- Interactions normally involve information exchange and basic problem resolution- Cardinal Health supports an inclusive workplace that values diversity of thought, experience and background.
