In this role you'll focus on ensuring compliance with some/all of the payroll processes in partnership with local Payroll vendor. Payroll Specialist includes work focused on ensuring compliance with some/all of the following payroll processes in partnership with local Payroll vendor: •Controlling over calculating gross and net pay amounts (e.g., salary, overtime, shift payments, sales commissions, bonuses, deferred compensation, benefits, tax withholdings, deductions, payroll liabilities, etc.) •Payroll-specific records maintenance (changes in wage/salary rates; pension, insurance, mandatory deductions; new hires, terminations, leave of absence, etc.) •Reconciliation of payroll records (e.g., payments, deductions, general ledger entries for wages) •Payroll data verification and administration •Monitor and manage payroll legislation compliance •Answering questions from employees and supervisors regarding payroll matters •May maintain records on vacation, sick leave and Benefits execution.
A successfulPayroll Specialist will :
Responsible for multiple Payroll & Benefits process(s) to ensure successful execution Coordination of new payroll set up, transfer or closure for M&A and divestitures Lead year end / annual payroll activities. Develop effective relationships with customers (Business Units, HR, Finance) and suppliers through proactive communication to provide outstanding service delivery Performing according to company policies related to data privacy, confidentiality, and compliance in daily activities. Proactively seek customer feedback to identify areas for process improvement, standardization, and productivity within assigned process Performs other duties or special projects as required or as assigned by a manager.
