Grow your career as a successful Payroll Manager within ALG Vacations. In this role, you will lead México Payroll & Benefits process within C&B Global organization, ensuring the proper payroll and benefits delivery, supporting process improvement activities with 2 Payroll Vendors (TMF-SIM) and standardized processes supporting ~ approx. 4.000 employees & 10 Legal Entities in Mexico. You will coordinate with MX local payroll team (spoke), the global C&B and Payroll initiatives, vendor's administration, and daily payroll operations/reports to provide service on timely, accurate & compliant manner per tax authorities, businesses, & internal deadlines.
A successful Payroll Manager will: Responsiblefor managing and operating the End-to-End (E2E) payroll process for Mexico.Ensure compliance either with internal controls (SOX) and the local authorities in countries in scope.Serve as ALG-HYATT and its subsidiaries companies as subject matter expert on local payroll requirements and related Tax and Social Security matters.Liaise with Payroll providers (TMF-SIM) and other local resources as needed to address questions/issues in this area as well as Manage proper relationship and control its operations to ensure efficient and effective payroll processes.Manage Payroll team supporting Mexico under the Specialist´s responsibility, ensuring effective recruiting of qualified payroll professionals.Coordinate delivery and setup operational calendars to Finance, Fiscal and operational deliverables.Monitor the correct implementation of Payroll and C&B practices and policies.Identify, track, and solve operational issues and improvement opportunities within the Area.Demonstrate a commitment to Hyatt core values.The position responsibilities outlined above are in no way to be construed as all encompassing. A successful Payroll Manager will have: Bachelor's degree in accounting, Business Administration or related field.At least 5-8 years of experience in Mexico Payroll & Benefits or HR Operations with a broad understanding of payroll operational activities (Tax-Labor-Social Security) IMSS, FONACOT-INFONAVIT-ISR.Knowledge of México labor law and Workers Contract agreements.Highly proficient in Microsoft 365 Office (Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).Intermediate English language skills, both written and verbal.Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and accuracy.Excellent interpersonal skills and experience building and maintaining positive working relationships.Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.About Apple Leisure Group As North America's only vertically integrated travel, hospitality and leisure management group, Apple Leisure Group is an industry innovator that combines the expertise of 14 leading brands.
