Paint 4 Wet Specialist

We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Paint 4 Wet Specialist to join our team. The Paint 4 wet color booth Specialist is responsible for coordinating and providing paint processing support during design, installation and launch of the new paint 4 wet process and equipment. The Paint 4 wet Specialist is responsible for assessing spraybooth and paint automated equipment for capability (existing/new model). Responsibilities include but not limited to: - Develop strategy for converting existing processes and launching new models, plus develops automation solutions, layouts and sets system requirements. - Commission new robotic equipment for processes including, primer, basecoat and clear coat. Execute process tune in and optimization of paint application equipment and support production launch. - Drive appearance characteristics per vehicle line. Develop and support process capability matrix for corrective troubleshooting of existing paint application or paint process conditions for current production vehicles. Requirements Basic Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field Minimum of 5 years of experience in wet paint application Strong knowledge of painting techniques, equipment, and materials Familiarity with quality standards and specifications for paint finishing Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills Ability to work effectively in a team environment Preferred Requirements: Experience in the automotive industry Certification in wet paint application or related field Experience with robotic paint systems Knowledge of environmental and safety regulations related to paint application Benefits Above the law
