Description and Requirements This Position is Located in GUADALAJARAWe are searching for a Quality Engineer who will be the continuous improvement leader for Thinksystem products.The primary responsibilities for the Quality Engineer position is to drive daily adherence to the Quality Management System and Operation Excellence subject matter expert.This position support Lenovo Worldwide team.Position Requirements:Drives quality improvement efforts to enforce an effective Quality Management System (QMS).Represent Quality Engineer during NPI process- Server Development Process.Uses Operation Excellence methodology to improve processes and reduce field defects.Report KPI Metrics and perform Data analysis to drive continuous product improvement.Customer advocate in Product Ship Support and Daily Quality roll call discussion.Work with Supplier Quality Engineer on Commodity Quality and Supplier FA activities.Verify commodity categorization, structure, and accuracy of ThinkSystem data in analytics tool.Support Product Engineer team with Field Quality data.Responsible for technical quality assurance process and reviews during product design and development activities.Coordinate and facilitate lesson learned review (FuPan).Able to work with virtual team and management.QualificationsExperience working as Quality Engineer, Mechanical Engineer on MFG, Service, Development HW.Server HW/Service experience/knowledge.Bachelor is Degree in Industrial/Quality/Mechanical engineering, Business Operation, Project Management.1-5 years of direct experience in engineering support.Problem Solving skills, Six Sigma or CQE preferred (ASQ or equivalent)Computer Skills, Excel, Minitab, Qlik sense, SQL, Oracle Hyperion.Travel up 5%.We are equal opportunity employer and do not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, sex, age national origin, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, status as veteran and basis of disability or any other federal, state, or local protect class.Additional Locations: * Mexico - Jalisco - Zapopan * Mexico - Jalisco - Zapopan * Mexico * Mexico - Jalisco * Mexico - Jalisco - Zapopan , * Mexico - Jalisco - Zapopan
