POSITION OBJECTIVE
•Plans, organizes, directs and controls all production activities to ensure that the production of goods and / or services meets the client's requirements in terms of volume, quality and cost within the established times in an efficient manner, makes operational adjustments of according to the standards established by the Quality Department, as well as all the activities and functions related to the position established in the internal procedures.
ACTIVITIES AND RESPOSIBILITIES
•Manages through the subordinate Supervisors all the Production activities applying the knowledge of the layout of the Plant and the Production Capacities of each Department
•Directly responsible for the Production Program and efficiency levels, observes the requirements established by Quality Control
•Supervises and evaluates the procedures designed to improve production methods, the use of equipment and the quality of finished products.
•Directly responsible for the Development, Evaluation and Improvement of Manufacturing Methods, using the standards of Industrial Engineering, Design Processes, Manufacturing as well as Parts and Materials, Production and Machining Equipment Capacities, Capacities of Manpower and Quality Standards as well as Scrap Control
•Supervises or evaluates measures designed to improve production methods, equipment performance and product quality.
•Plan Investigations to determine the effectiveness of the use of labor and project the needs of labor and support personnel
•Formulates production reports and dates of termination of work to other executives
•Prepares, negotiates and manages the objectives and budgets of its department, as well as the strategies and action plans to meet those objectives.
•Validates and authorizes the procedures (SOP) of the production function
•Complies with the Standard Operating Proces(SOP) of the Molding Function.
•Maintains a safe work environment at all times.
Experiencia y requisitos:
EXPERIENCE:
•Experience in processes or similar position (preferably)
•More than 5 years in the administration of production processes and personnel
•More than 5 Years in the Molding Process.
•May have operational knowledge of the mechanical, hydraulic and electrical characteristics of the injection molding equipment, as well as a high degree of responsibility regarding expensive equipment and molds.
•Requires leadership and experience in process Improvement and cost reduction.
•Requires knowledge of manufacturing systems, GMP's (Good Manufacturing Practices), MRP, MTM, New Product Introduction Processes, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, Cost Reduction, Project Management, ISO / QS, Environmental and Safety Standards, etc.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Degree in Engineering or Professional Degree
• Bilingual Spanish - English
• USA valid Visa
