**YOUR IMPACT**:Demonstrate key systems engineering technical knowledge, engineering, and management practice in areas such as requirements definition, architecture, system analysis, integration, verification, validation, change management, configuration management, linked data, product line engineering, measurement, risk, quality and knowledge management.Develop and document Systems level architecture and design using a Model Based Engineering Approach and tools.Develop, support, and lead the execution of systems-level concept of operations system and subsystem requirements, and system level verification.Conduct system level analysis, architecture, optimization, and requirements trade studiesSupport program related projects to develop system simulationsIntegrates or knits together CAE and simulations to MBSE models as well as downstream activities in design and manufacturingPrepare any required documentation, including specifications and verification reportsWork with the cross-functional teams to cascade realistic and true targets to deliver quality and value to the customer and company. (EPLM, VA, FEDE, Functions).Develop innovative cross-functional solutions that deliver the vehicle targets for cost, weight and performance and meet the customer needs and expectations.Drive trade-off discussions in the Systems Engineering ReviewsDevelop new methods for system optimization and drive into the engineering process.Use SysML (Magic Draw) to document system informationEngage closely with third-parties, such as Caresoft, for benchmarking cost, weight, and complexity investigationsAssists in developing and processing cross-functional (systems) CMFs/CRFs, Q-forms, etc. with functional ownersIdentifies opportunity areas for optimization, mass, weight, and part reductionContributes to total cost and other attributes & metrics within SITDrives cost reduction, weight minimization, quality improvementsChallenges requirements based off of CAE analysis, benchmarking, and systems approaches**WHAT YOU'LL NEED**:Basic Qualifications and SkillsBS Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Enginering, Aerospace or related engineering field with preferably 2 yrs Automotive Experience; MBA is a definite plusProgram Management or D&R experience preferred2+ year experience in Systems Engineering.Must have the qualities of a strategic thinking D&R engineer.Demonstrates critical thinking, courage, humility, decisiveness, flexibility, knowledge, vision, communicationsAbility to work in dynamic, fast-paced, team-oriented environmentDemonstrated ability to show initiativeFamiliar with Systems Engineering FundamentalsEnglish proficiencyStrong empathy and communication skills to enable collaborationGreat emotional resilience to negotiate cross functional trade-offsStrong systems thinking and analytical skillsExcellent communication skills both verbally and written, ability to concisely summarize complex conceptsExperience in Architecture ModellingExperience Modelling Automotive Systems or Integration of Multiple Systems into a vehicle.Experience with SysMLOptimization background in Mode Frontier and/or HEEDS, Altair, MatlabExperience managing, creating and verifying RequirementsExperience with Siemens TeamCenter, Polarian, MagicDrawExperience using IPS (path planner, flexibles, etc.), Stages - process visualization tool, and JIRA.Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Expertise in Model-Based Systems Engineering, proficient in MagicDraw5-7+ years Systems EngineeringResearch, Teaching and/or Industry experienceStrong leadership skills, excellent organization skills, effective communications and ability to prioritize.Familiar with Industry Systems Engineering Organization, INCOSEGreat emotional resilience to negotiate cross functional trade-offsCertification as Systems Engineering Professional (SEP)Experience with SysML (MagicDraw)Master's degree, preferably in Systems EngineeringPrior experience in design and release of Interior Trim, HVAC, Electrical, Exterior Ornamentation, Chassis or Body Structure with working understanding of the product development process.Strong strategy skillsDemonstrated ability to concisely frame complex product & business scenarios, including development of succinct recommendationsAbility to lead and work with cross-functional teams.Communicate complex systems, issues and resolutions in a clear and concise manner.Ability to work collaboratively to reach to creative decisions that are mutually acceptable to multiple engineering and support teams.C++ and equivalent background helpfulAutomation and database customization experience helpfulExperience with MBSE ToolsExperience with graph data visualization (Tom Sawyer), Open CAESAR, Phoenix ModelCenter, OpenMBEEExperience with CATIA/TCE/Digital Buck, VisMockup, NXOptimization background in Mode Frontier and/or HEEDS, Altair, Matlab**DISCLAIMER**:Ford Motor Company is an Eq
