Lead PHP & Front End EngineerFor our software development we are seeking a Lead PHP & Front End Engineer to build and lead the dynamic development team, drive innovative web solutions, and help shape the future of the technology stack of our platform.If this sounds like you - we want to hear from you!What you'll doTake ownership of all technical aspects of the project.Develop new features in the project and support the existing ones.Create common UI components.Regular review of the code of teammates.Provide technical and functional guidance to the engineering team in designing, maintaining, building, integrating, and testing components according to product design specifications.Contribute to technical design for features and solution components in their area of expertise.Participate in developing and updating the comprehensive technical documentation.Be accountable for the technological development decisions within the team.Ensure the engineering team's practices and company standards are being met and are aligned with the company vision and mission.Organize and manage all technical information in a clear and concise way and utilize project management tools and systems.Join cross-functional teams and other stakeholders to help connect engineering efforts to the company's business goals.Qualifications:6+ years of commercial experience with PHP 7+ versions.Proven track-record of leading a successful project's engineering for at least 3 years.Robust understanding of OOP and writing simple and clean code.Advanced architecture understanding both on a theoretical and practical level.Strong knowledge of Code Design Patterns, SOLID, DRY and KISS principles.Experience with the Laravel framework.Experience with databases PostgreSQL/MySQL, Redis.Knowledge in databases, SQL optimization.Hands-on experience with integrations of external API to the project.Understand Microservices, DDD, Event Sourcing, CQRS.Experience with Docker and docker-compose.Experience with PHPUnit and tests.Exceptional analytical and detail-oriented skills.Excellent bilingual communication skills in both - Spanish and English.Nice to haves:Experience with PHPUnit and tests.Experience with AWS.At ease with Slack, Airtable, Notion, ClickUp.Academic degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Machine Learning or a related field.?What we offerA dynamic, flat startup environment fostering innovation and collaboration.Build a truly cutting-edge and industry-changing product for LATAM.Annual personal development budget.Be among the first 10 hires of a stealth-stage SaaS startup.Salary range $70,000 MXN - $90,000 MXN gross monthly, determined based on your capabilities, fit and experience.Work location: Polanco, CDMX, 4 days onsite, with Friday remote day.Tipo de puesto: Tiempo completoSalario: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 al mesHorario:- Turno de 8 horasLugar de trabajo: remoto híbrido en 11540, Ciudad de México, CDMX
