Job OverviewTE Connectivitys IT Infrastructure Teams are responsibr IT infrastructure (voice/data networkrewalls, phone systems, video conference systems, proxy servers, DNS, domain controllers, WAN optimization controllers, monitoring software and security systems). They define, design and implement network communications and solution improvements. TEs IT Infrastructure Teams also analyze, design, acquire and implement projecr LAN and/or WAN systems; plan, design, acquire and implement telecommunications voice/wire systems; propose and implement system enhancements (software and hardware updates) that will improve the performance and reliability of the system.Responsabilities Supports hardware installation and configuration and ongoing maintenance of the computer and MDF. May monitor and troubleshoot equipment and assist with logging and documentation. Manages tape backups including physical tape handling. Responsibilities may also include cabling, racking and server installations. Coordinates, diagnoses, troubleshoots and supports incident employee issues with personal computers, mobile devices, printers and related systems. Provides support services to employees with technical problems and information technology issues involving desktop, laptop or networkservicom localpersonnel om employees using network remote access. Provides timely resolution of problems or escalation on behalf of customer to appropriate technical personnel. Develops, documents, and implements standard operating procedures and customer service guidelines relating to remote IT support.
