If so, lets talk.**Your Role and Responsibilities**Allocating system storage and planning future storage requirements for the database systemCreating primary database storage structuresCreating primary objects (tables, views, indexes)Modifying the database structure, as necessary**Required Technical and Professional Expertise**Create/modify Informix database, db objects and Stored procedures.Provide and manage database/object access to legitimate users as per privacy and security compliance.Monitor and troubleshoot critical database batch jobs on all production database environments.Refresh lower environment databases with Production data with Informix utilities.Maintenance task associated with Informix Timeseries data.Managing & resolving issues related to Informix DBSpace,Chunks, Locking and performance.Set up and managing Informix warehouse accelerator(IWA).Database backup/restore utilities and setting up Informix high availability.Good in Unix Shell scripting and be able to perform basic operating system administrative work for Linux Systems**Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise**Open to work in Jalisco (hybrid model)Proficient English**About Business Unit**IBM Consulting is IBM's consulting and global professional services business, with market leading capabilities in business and technology transformation.
