Solvento is bringing invoice settlement and payment automation to the highly fragmented and growing Mexican 90B trucking industry. We offer 3PLs and carriers access to faster payments and credit. By embedding ourselves in the payment process from 3PLs to carriers, we can offer them instant payment in invoice loans. In addition, by embedding ourselves in 3PL and carrier workflows, we aspire to launch additional revenue streams, including invoice collections, fuel cards, truck leasing, and insurance. Your mission as a Head of Legal Review and analyze all legal risks and implications of Solvento's relationships and transactions with all stakeholders (suppliers, customers, and employees). You will be responsible for providing proactive, in-depth legal advice focused on business operations, contracts, credit lines, and any other legal issues and implications involving Solvento. The Legal Manager will be expected to use your creativity to simplify legal processes and differentiate ourselves from our competitors (without increasing our risk exposure) to drive our stakeholder's satisfaction and propel the company's success. Role responsibilities Foresee legal issues or risks and build the required processes to manage them. Be the POC and manage outside counsel relationships as needed. Great communication amongst areas. Compliance of internal policies with applicable legislation. Propose new products from a legal perspective. Maintain a seamless process between KYC and commercial stakeholders. Improve internal policies aiming into more efficient processes. Skills and experience We're looking for a Head of Legal with: 5 - 6 years combined law firm and/or in-house legal department experience. Fluent and Advanced legal English level Contract review demonstrated experience. Exceptional written communication skills (drafting high-value legal documentation). Experience in managing teams Nice to have, but not essential Understanding of structured financing. Thorough financing and factoring knowledge. LL.M.
