Uncover deep insight but also generate the implications that will drive growth Apply findings from measurement and evaluation to increase efficiency of our A&P spend Ruthlessly prioritise the finite time available to focus on tasks that add maximum value to Diageo - stop or delegate everything else Successfully influence the business to make the right consumer/ shopper led strategic and commercially savvy decisions Fuel the business with consumer/ shopper led provocations and understanding to instigate change Externally attentive - to culture, trends and market place dynamics to detect the factors that could positively or negatively impact growth Qualifications: We are looking for a confident personality with good communication skills. A person who takes an open and inclusive approach, and demonstrates excellent customer management skills. You will operate successfully in a fast moving environment, taking a constantly curious attitude. You will have demonstrated your ability to work within a cross-functional team, as well your passion to encourage and educate others. 10 years of experience in roles of strategic planning, research, insights, analytics/data and brand / business strategy, with deep client experience essential, but agency experience also desirable. Experience leading sales, finance, business, creative and brand teams and influencing the business to go into the encouraged direction for growth Significant and confirmed leadership experience with evidence of driving sustained cultural and behavioural change at scale within an organization, bringing to bear diverse inputs including data and analytics, behavioural science, and consumer learning. Innovative and creative but also intellectually rigorous in analytical thinking. Great communication skills and ability to interact with those of a variety of different backgrounds and levels of seniority, as well as different cultures and perspectives. Strong ability to simplify the complex in order to ensure that our brand building tools and frameworks are fully understood and used. Brilliant at spotting external opportunities, simplifying them, experimenting, and working out how to apply them to the organization at scale. They need to be able to influence GMs, marketing directors, CMO, MLT, GBTs, customer marketing, external agencies, and the global CP team to ensure our brands are on the forefront of harnessing external opportunities.
