Our rapid growth, reputation and strong position in the energy market offer dynamic career opportunities for individuals seeking an exciting work environment in America's fastest growing sector.What You Will Do * Responsible for the GIS database management.* Creates and updates maps and other visualizations, using ESRI ArcGIS software, by extracting and copying data and geometry from AutoCAD design files.* Be able to create, add, and edit attribute fields to design objects in AutoCAD.
Be able to create and edit kml/kmz files.* Evaluates data for accuracy, usefulness, and compatibility.* Coordinates with DEPCOM Engineering Staff, Site Development, and Project Team to solve backend problems and implement system enhancements and As-built updates as needed.* Create and manage project schedule working closely with various Engineering and Project Delivery Teams.* Be able to meet project deadlines in a timely manner.* Designs, develop, maintain, and update custom web based ESRI ArcGIS applications, geospatial databases, and models to support a variety of business functions.* Plans and implements systems and databases for storing and accessing geospatial data.* Troubleshoot Issues related to the ESRI ArcGIS Application.* Documents the design and execution of programming in a clear and concise manner.* Perform related duties as required.* Manage construction user access to ArcGIS maps.Who You Are (Basic Q ualifications) * Bachelor or higher degree in land development or equivalent with professional registration (Cedula Profesional - SEP) in Mexico.* 6+ years' experience using ESRI ArcGIS PRO 3.1 or other GIS applications.* Experience creating, editing, and maintaining layers, shapefiles, kml/kmz files, geodatabases, data entry, spatial analysis, and data conversion as needed in GIS.* Knowledge and Experience using AutoCAD and/or Autodesk Civil 3D.* Administration of current GIS software such as ESRI ArcGIS Enterprise, including Geodatabase.* Proficient in Microsoft Office, primarily Excel, Outlook, & Word.* Principles and practices of metadata creation and editing.* Principles and practices of effective technical documentation.* Good communications skills.* Highly motivated, articulate, and self-starting.* Has the ability to positively interact with teammates and clients.* Ability to travel to US during short periods (Valid passport and visa).* Valid driving license.* Fluent in English oral and written communication.What Will Put You Ahead * Principles and practices of current computer programming languages in advanced data analysis, such as Python, and their applications in the context of geospatial analysis.* Create custom GIS applications using best-practice programming structures and other available tools.At Koch companies, we are entrepreneurs.
