FULL-STACK RUBY ON RAILS DEVELOPER

We are a growing staffing agency based out of New Haven, Connecticut, specialized in the placing of remote software development professionals to work directly with our clients located exclusively within the United States.

We are currently looking for a Full-Stack Ruby on Rails developer for one of our clients, a leading web content management system.

The Project
- Web content management system built over a combination of superior open source technologies oriented to critical business and eCommerce web sites
- The platform was designed for faster amd more reliable integrations with third party systems
- Cloud-based infrastructure focused on data and security

Responsibilities
- Provide creative solutions with the determination to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Participate in the develpoment of new features and on the maintenance of existing ones
- Work directly with the end client and with a team of developers

Requirements
- 2+ years of experience with Ruby on Rails
- Experience with JavaScript, AJAX, HTML, Git, MySQL, Varnish, Nginx, Unicorn, Capistrano, Capybara and Jenkins
- Deadline oriented
- Responsive and client oriented
- Can work independently or without supervision
- Strong English communicational skills to speak, write and read
- Must have a high-speed and reliable internet connection as well as availability to communicate with our team and our clients during US business hours (from 9am to 6pm EST)

Additional Requirements (Good To Have)
- Bs. Degree Computer Science or related
- Experience with Python/Django
- Experience with PostgreSQL
