GENERAL DESCRIPTION:Responsible for managing the financial health of an organization to promote success and growth while maintaining legal financial practices. Their duties typically include financial planning to determine how to pay off liabilities and grow the business, reviewing financial documents to ensure tax-compliance and collaboration with other departments to achieve financial goals.Overall, Purpose of the Role:• To support the establishment of the accounting and finance function of Mata Mexico• Co-ordinate matters related to Accounting, Payments, Treasury, Banking and Taxation• Establish reporting infrastructure to deliver timely and accurate management information.Keep track of including but not limited to Cash Flow, Group Financial Reporting, Budget realizations and its relevant analysis, Statutory Income and Balance Sheet Statements on a regular basis.• Lead preparation of annual budget and its revisions (if necessary)• Provide knowledge and interpretation of Mexican accounting policy requirements and statutory reporting.• Support establishment of accounting, finance and administrative procedures and internal controls in accordance with Group standards and policies• Implement SAP (mainly FI, CO and to some extent MM modules) in co-ordination with relevant Mata units and HQ IT function.• Manage internal and external reporting, whether accounting, administrative or taxation, and liaison with internal and external auditors and advisorsKey Responsibilities:Strategy and Development• Maintains the accounting system• Assists management to make financial decisions• Conduct review and evaluation for cost-reduction opportunities• Analyze costs, pricing, variable contributions,sales results and the company's actual performance compared to the business plans.• Conduct risk assessments of processes and tasks in the department.People Management• Support the delivery of departmental structure and reporting, including staffing structure.• Manage, coach, and develop a high performing Finance team that meets agreed objectives, and which delivers best practice results, added value and continuous improvements.• Provide technical expertise to the team.• Manage contractors on site to ensure they meet legal and company requirements.Financial and Budget Control• Input and hold responsibility for plant budgets.• Responsible for achieving budget and forecast.• Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure optimal performance.• Liaise with suppliers to resolve financial issues.Self Management• Comply with the Health, Safety and Environmental Policies• Support encourage and develop team• Proactively contribute to creating a good team atmospherePROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or similars.• Fluency in English and Spanish.• Experience on:o More than 10 years of experience in the manufacturing enviroment with at least 3 years in the automotive industry in similar position:o Multicultural enviroment.o IMMEXo SAPo Taxes and Mexican Fiscal Regulations• No restriction for international travel 25%COMPENTENCES:• Organized• Leadership• Negotiation Skills• Business Mindset• Ethical• Understanding of Confidentiality• Excellent written,verbal and presentation skills• Teamwork• Strong planning and organization skills• Get results orientedAt MATA we are committed to building an inclusive and discrimination-free ecosystem in Mexico, these principles are rooted in our corporate philosophy and culture.
