Scope of leadership rolePosition Summary: Highly qualified Senior Project Engineer to join our dynamic team and contribute to the success of strategic savings, productivity and capital projects. The ideal candidate will have strong experience managing complex projects, advanced technical skills, and a proactive approach to problem solving; may or may not have direct reports.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage VCP savings, productivity and capital projects at the entire plant level.Develop and implement detailed project plans, including schedules, budgets and risk management strategies, considering the interaction with the different functions of the plant.Monitor and control project progress at a plant-wide level, ensuring meeting objectives and timely delivery.Manage indirectly a team of managers, engineers and technicians, providing guidance, training and motivation (360 degrees leadership).Implement standard periodic process to identify and analyze opportunities for improvement in existing processes and systems at the entire plant level.Implement innovative solutions to optimize resource use and reduce costs throughout the plant.Collaborate closely with key stakeholders throughout the plant, including customers, managers, support teams and the different functions of the plant.Provide periodic reports on the status of the project and the results obtained at the plant-wide level.PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONSAbility to do tactical reporting, data mining, and critical analysis.MS Office suite Power User (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams)Analytics SkillsEngineering degree in relevant areas such as Industrial, Electrical, Mechanical or related.Minimum of 5 years of demonstrable experience managing complex projects at the plant level.Strong technical skills in areas such as data analysis, process optimization, resource management and knowledge of different plant functions.Experience in implementing savings, productivity and capital solutions at the plant level.Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, and ability to interact with different plant functions.Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.Proactive approach, results-oriented and with the ability to solve problems creatively.Proficient in computer project management tools (e.g., MS Project).Availability to travel occasionally.Required Education / Experience / Skills: Project management certifications (e.g., PMP, PMI-SP).Knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.Leadership skills and ability to inspire others.Fluency in English.About Regal RexnordRegal Rexnord's 30,000 associates around the world help create a better tomorrow by providing sustainable solutions that power, transmit and control motion.
