Job Description The Energy and Utilities Senior Buyer is responsible for the sourcing, planning and execution of agreements to procure Energy and Utility services for Stellantis facilities, including : gathering and prioritizing facility requirements, defining the vision, and working closely with manufacturing engineering, sustainability, external affairs, and the operational support teams to ensure goals are met.
The position requires a unique blend of business and technical savvy; a big-picture vision, and the drive to turn market opportunities into creative innovative solutions.
Job responsibilities include but not limited to : Define the energy product strategy and roadmapSubject matter expert for all electricity, natural gas related mattersConduct Energy projects across Stellantis locations globallyWork with external third parties to assess market conditions and engineer tailored solutions for the various markets across Stellantis locationsAt times act as Stellantis' representative in various advocacy organizationsLead governance boards for the buying strategy across energy and utilities to senior stakeholder levels and produce regular reportsContributing member of the Energy Center of Competence, a cross functional team designed to engineer technical solutions for energy and utilitiesCreate and maintain technical models for the cost drivers, cost impacts and budgets for sites and use these models to target and prioritize the highest impact improvement areasConduct pilot projects to test new solutions and translate successful pilot projects into standards, guidelines and procedures which can be applied across the organizationConduct benchmark analysis with respect to how our products and / or engineering solutions compares to the competitionManage all aspects of the supplier relationship including contract maintenance, achievement of annual cost savings targets, and development of supplier and commodity strategiesDevelop and present materials and data to all levels of senior management up to and including Senior Vice Presidents. The candidate will track program changes to ensure overall spend is within budgeted approval levelsSupport the various process and procedures of the Indirect Purchasing department, while driving improvements to the organization and improving efficiencyRequirements
Basic Qualifications : Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field5 years of relevant sourcing / procurement, utilities management, engineering experienceAbility to build and maintain strong relationshipsExperience in executing technical savings solutionsOutstanding written and verbal communication skills and excellent analytical and presentation skillsComfortable interfacing with all levels of management and must beProficient in MS office suiteSelf-motivated / sense of ownershipAbility to think and act strategicallyStrong leadership skillsMust be organized and possess the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and adapt in a fast-paced environmentPreferred Qualifications : Master's degreeExperience in natural gas and electricity procurementExperience with and in depth knowledge of Automotive OEM's
