OVERVIEW:Find your future at Fastenal!Our distribution center is hiring energetic, team oriented individuals be on our transportation team!Working as a Full-time Driver (DOT-No CDL), you will be representing the Fastenal fleet as it delivers from its Fastenal Distribution Centers to its branches and customer on-site locations.You will operate a safe, well-maintained and late model straight truck.Delivery trucks are pre-loaded, in order of delivery, prior to departure, and you will be responsible for unloading the freight at each stop along your route; most routes average 10-12 stops.We offer established routes that may see periodic change based off needs of the company.Fastenal Company is committed to environmental protection and to providing a safe and healthy workplace for all employees.We strive to integrate EHS & Sustainability considerations into all our business decisions, plans, and operations.RESPONSIBILITIES:The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:o Providing excellent service to our branches and customers by delivering product in a prompt, efficient mannero Utilizing a handheld scannero Unloading product from trucks by hand, pallet jack, or by forklifto Interacting with our shipping and receiving departmentso Maintaining a clean work environment within our equipmento Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of work areao Complying with health, safety and sustainability rules and expectationso Participating in activities and programs that help the company achieve health, safety and sustainability objectiveso Learning, passing, and practicing various environmental health and safety trainings REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:The following skills and qualifications are required for this position:o Excellent written and oral communication skills o Possess a current valid Driver's License in good standing o Possess a current health card OR have the ability to obtain oneo Meet Fastenal driving record requirementso Possess strong working knowledge of the DOT regulations in regards to a DOT-No CDL Drivero Maintain DOT regulated Drivers Hours-of-Serviceo Demonstrate our core values of ambition, innovation, integrity and teamwork o Lift up to 60 lbs.and maneuver up to 150 lbs.o Successfully complete the required DOT drug and alcohol screens, road test, employment verification and background check PREFERRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:o Prior driving work experienceo Prior experience operating a forklift
