As Distribution Center Manager, you'll play a vital part in our success. You´ll be in charged with providing support to the Operation Manager in assembling and leading a proficient team, cultivating a dynamic and practical operational culture, comprehending the intricacies of the business model (GMP), and overseeing monthly financial accrual and cost allocations.

Key responsibilities :
Develop and nurture operational teams across various functions in alignment with organizational structure, including operation supervisors, system superusers, outbound and inbound leaders, among others.
Foster a conducive working culture characterized by diligence and flexibility, which garners acceptance and respect from the entire team.
Facilitating training initiatives and fostering the growth of team members to attain career development objectives.
Lead the entire team in managing the surge in volume during peak seasons, such as "Rebaja," which may escalate to 5-10 times the daily volume.
Lead and facilitate training sessions for team members to grasp intricate operational processes and systems, fostering a comprehensive understanding of KPIs and operational models.
Ensure managers and supervisors maintain visibility of working hours and productivity metrics for each task.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging and motivating teams to enhance workflow efficiency and productivity continually.
Attain a comprehensive understanding of the open-book business model (GMP), deciphering the relationship between operational productivity, hourly wages, and GMP outcomes.
Collaborate closely with Finance and top management to establish monthly PnL targets, budget monthly accruals, and manage cost allocations.
Monitor productivity and GMP outcomes on a weekly basis to ensure that the overall PnL result aligns with monthly targets.
Collaborate closely with account managers to understand customer priorities comprehensively, focusing on aspects such as 5S standards, productivity, and GMP targets.
Cultivate a mutual trust relationship with customers, fostering a collaborative environment where support is garnered from both the customer side and the entire team.

5 years at least as Distribution Center Manager
Comprehensive understanding of warehouse operations from the foundational level, enriched with strong commercial insight. Experience is highly regarded, yet the openness to embrace innovative solutions and the flexibility to adapt.
Actively collaborate with the floor team, striving to enhance the work environment, streamline operation flows, and innovate team management practices. A pivotal aspect of this role is fostering team unity to achieve daily targets, especially during peak seasons, leading by example at the forefront of operations.
A sense of ownership over the products is essential, treating them as your own, and viewing yourself and your team as a vital component.
Direct engagement with customers on the floor is critical, requiring the provision of timely updates and constructive feedback. With customers present year-round, maintaining close operational oversight and nurturing strong relationships is key to managing expectations successfully.
Advanced English Proficiency in data analytics will be a cornerstone of success in this position. The ability to interpret and apply specific metrics, alongside the capability to compile thorough reports, is crucial. These reports should not only reflect a profound operational understanding but also facilitate effective customer expectation management.
