We are hiring a **DEI Program Manager** who will enable the successful development and execution of the DEI Strategy by managing and or leading key DEI projects.**This is done by**:- Developing and managing project plans, acting as liaison with Global Talent Operations, facilitating and coordinating meetings and events to generate ideas and decisions and to gain agreement among stakeholders around tasks and deliverables.- Providing project management for a set of crucial DEI projects simultaneously that will significantly impact the Steelcase Global DEI strategy.- Managing a portfolio of projects aligned to priorities in collaboration with DEI Workstream Leaders and DEI lead while managing all aspects of projects: prioritizing, planning, budgeting, scheduling, managing, tracking, and recommending modifications to projects.- Ensuring successful execution of DEI initiatives, team budget health, and ESG, and Compliance guidelines related to DEI.- Monitor and communicate progress regularly using appropriate project management methods and technology tools.**Primary responsibilities**:**Project Management**- Facilitate critical-thinking conversations with cross-functional teams to design innovative tactics and projects plans with specific targets that drive progress and support the achievement of DEI goals.- Manage all global DEI projects and initiatives portfolios in collaboration with their owners and DEI lead, ensuring alignment among them and the DEI strategy and goals in a fast-moving environment.- Develop management systems to track and measure the execution and impact of simultaneous global DEI projects and initiatives.- Leverage talent insights resources and tools to regularly update business leaders and stakeholders on the progress and business impact of the DEI program.- DEI Operations governance lead and representative for Execution with Global Talent Operations and key project stakeholders.**Program Management**- Manage and or lead specific DEI projects and initiatives.- Provide insights into the development of DEI Strategy and the identification of now, near, and far goals.- Collaborate in discussions with project leaders, individuals, and teams across the organization on topics related to DEI.- Influence the continuous improvement of projects and programs to advance Diversity Equity and Inclusion.- Coach DEI Core Team and other Global Talent leaders on best practices for improving DEI projects execution within their programs and services.- Fostering relationships and partnerships, and building trust across multiple DEI audiences- Oversee DEI budget management, resources, and tools.- Support other core processes of DEI (e.g., communications, events, activities, etc.) as required.**Operational Excellence and Compliance enablement**- Develop, manage, and continually evolve the DEI knowledge library. (DEI related policies and processes)- ESG requests: Partner with HR to influence process efficiencies and effectiveness in DEI responses to ESG requests such as ISS Corporate Ratings, Human Rights Campaign, Talent 2025, and other corporate assessments and sales team requests for information.- Equal Employment Opportunity oversee: Partner with Global Talent cross functional teams such as Talent Practices, HR and Reporting enabling and overseeing the success and adherence to Equal Employment Opportunity regulations. We value each other's unique contributions and strengths and foster a culture of mutual respect, empathy, and inclusivity, recognizing and celebrating each other's humanity at all times.**Who you are****Required Skills and Competencies**- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business or related is desired.- 3+ years of solid demonstrated experience in Project and Program Management is a must.- Advanced English is a must.**Preferred Skills and Competencies**- PM Certification is desired.- Ability to manage a complicated set of projects simultaneously.- Ability to drive quality and operational excellence.- Adaptability capacity to continually adjust to new conditions.- Excellent follow-through, administrative and organizational skills.- Strong communication (verbal and written) and team facilitation skills.- Comfortable with a variety of responsibilities.- Ability to leverage diverse types program management methods and tools.- Ability to see the big picture and make connections among multiple data points.- Creativity skills to generate innovative solutions and ideas that solve emerging challenges and turn them into tactics that bring them into reality.- Knowledge of diverse meth
