Category Manager - Wire

**Activities and Responsibilities**:- Lead team of strategic buyers- Challenge demand and specifications- Maximize savings delivery and secure Total Cost of Ownership reductions for a category- Oversee development/ execution of strategies through the strategic sourcing process for specific category of spend areas- Oversee the process to select and manage suppliers- Measure and track internal performance within each spend category- Monitor strategy implementation- Drive annual productivity improvements in each spend category- Develop an expertise in the category spend categories- Other duties as assigned include ad hoc analyses or special projects as needed**Qualifications**:- Bachelors Degree, Business, Operations or Engineering (highly preferred)- 15+ year track record within Procurement, track record of driving change- Previous experience with category required- Strong ability in reading and managing data to drive business decisions.- Experience with Lean manufacturing methodologies- Ability to lead, influence and drive change in a cross-functional team environment- Strong Analytical and Technical Skills- Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing training and certification preferred- Supply Chain Certification (i.e., CPM, CPIM, etc.) preferred- Strong negotiating skills, excellent communication skills (written and verbal)- Outstanding influencing and cross-functional skillsTipo de puesto: Tiempo completo, Por tiempo indeterminadoSalario: $3,200.00 - $4,500.00 al díaHorario:- Diurno- Lunes a viernesPrestaciones:- Apoyo para estudios- Seguro de gastos médicos- Seguro dental- Seguro de vida- Teléfono de la empresa- Vales de despensaEducación:- Licenciatura terminada (Obligatorio)Idioma:- Inglés (Obligatorio)Lugar de trabajo: Empleo presencial
