Join us as we revolutionize kidney care and other vital organ support.We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Indirect Procurement IT Category Manager to join our dynamic procurement team at VANTIVE. As a key member of our procurement organization, you will be responsible for managing the indirect sourcing of IT goods and services, ensuring best value proposition and overall Total Cost of Ownership. The Category Manager will be reporting to the Global Director of IT Procurement within Vantive's Indirect Procurement teamWhat you will be doing:- Develop and implement category strategy for IT categories, aligning with Vantive's business objectives and procurement goals.- Manage the full lifecycle of IT sourcing for Software, Hardware, Telecom, Network and Services, including supplier selection, contract negotiation, and ongoing supplier management.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, finance, and legal, to ensure that all procurement activities are aligned with Vantive's business objectives and regulatory requirements.- Ensure that all procurement activities are conducted in accordance with Vantive's procurement policies and procedures, and that all suppliers are properly vetted and qualified.- Conduct market research and analysis to identify and evaluate potential suppliers and negotiate contracts that deliver the best value for Vantive.- Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the IT market, including trends, technologies, and supplier landscape, to ensure that Vantive remains competitive and innovative in its procurement practices.- Develop and implement cost-saving initiatives and strategies to optimize procurement spend for IT categories.- Provide regular reporting and analysis on procurement activities and cost savings to senior management and other stakeholders.What you will bring:- Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.- At least 5 years of experience in indirect sourcing, procurement, or a related field.- Strong knowledge of IT procurement and sourcing, including contract negotiation and supplier management.- Proven track record of delivering cost savings and improving procurement processes.- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with suppliers and cross-functional teams.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze market trends and identify opportunities for cost savings.- Proficient in procurement software and systems, including e-sourcing and contract management tools.- Experience in contracting includes but not be limited to Master Service Agreements, SaaS and Software License Agreements, Statements of Work, Amendments and NDAs**Reasonable Accommodations****Recruitment Fraud Notice**Baxter has discovered incidents of employment scams, where fraudulent parties pose as Baxter employees, recruiters, or other agents, and engage with online job seekers in an attempt to steal personal and/or financial information.
