We are hiring a Buyer for an American company. Packing of protective cases for portable electronic devices such as: iPad, iPhone, MACBook, Android and more.

MAIN ACTIVITIES:

* Manage all packaging procurement

* Verify and execute MRP system generated purchase recommendations.
* Analyze and make purchase recommendations for new products, sometimes based on incomplete data.

* Work to minimize excess inventory exposure through considering conversions and repurposing existing inventory.

* Work with Asia packaging vendors to manage any expedite/de-expedite requirements.
Requirements:

Bachelors Degree
Purchasing and planning experience required: FINISHED GOODS and PACKAGING (desirable)
Experience with ERP and MRP software (SAP)
Intermediate Excel proficiency
