Business Analyst

Client: Our client is a huge US-based asset manager.Project overview: The project's aim is to create a Data Governance Platform to operate with all the investment and product data within the asset manager.Position overview: We expect that Business Analyst to become the valuable player in the team to work closely with the client's representatives on the business functionality brainstorming and documentation.- Responsibilities: Organize effective collaboration with business owners and the project team- Analyze existing business processes and determine business and operational objectives- Analyze, document, and manage requirements through the full project lifecycle- Analyze data sources for the data mastering glossary creation- Write user stories and user acceptance specifications- 3+ years of experience as a business analyst- Financial services industry experience, knowledge of terms, key standards, and an understanding of investment domain- Understanding of business processes- Experience in querying and analyzing data in relational databases (MS SQL, Oracle, etc.)- Ability to translate business needs into software and operational requirements, document and analyze requirements and propose possible solutions- Thorough understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English- Experience in facilitating effective interaction between the project team and the customer- Participation in planning, resolving disputes, and risk evaluation- Verifying implemented products in accordance with the requirements
