We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role ofBusiness Administration and Operational Management
Role Purpose Business Administration and Operational Management will participate in business activities, supporting Senior Managers with BAU and non-BAU activities, cyclical work pieces such as Annual Reporting and short term initiatives. They are located in BAU teams and would report to a Senior Manager and may have direct reports.
This job is not client facing and does not have any portfolios.Those employees fulfilling a Business Administration and Operational Management role are expected to possess some knowledge of financial budgeting, strategic planning, communication, and people management processes in the context of the business area they are located in but are not expected to have specific product knowledge relating to the.
Principal Accountabilities The role holder will:
Assisting with the execution of business initiatives and activities in support of business area aims. Change implementation projects are out of scope Participate and support in business planning activities which may include financial, technological and resource planningContribute to senior management decision making by use of management information, performance information, analytics, forums and stakeholder feedbackSupport in forums and committees to represent view of business areaSupport the development and monitoring of internal governance activitiesInvestigating and seeking remedies for discrete issues which may be adversely affecting business unit performanceEvaluate and analyze management information relating to external service providers of their provision, monitor their performance and ensure service level agreements are honored. The role holder will primarily support Group and Regional COO team in the US. Requirements Excellent understanding of the project lifecycle Networking developer.: Excellent relationship management and influencing skills based on leadership at different levels of Seniority within our organization.Strong financial, accounting, administration experience supported by management capabilities to planning, organizing and distribute complex information. Skilled to challenge and explain results.Communication – the ability to communicate complex issues concisely in English.Able to produce, interpret and challenge performance reportingWilling and able to analyze complex issues and identify / assess the long-term, strategic implications for the Bank and its customers.Knowledge & Experience Use of English at business level - mandatory (at least 5 years) Financial, Planning and administrative background (at least 5 years) People manager and broad experience in managing teams of different work streams Examples of the delivery of on time and on budget projects that achieve business case stated outcomes – a driver with bias towards delivery at pace and controlling project outcomesIn depth experience of working in a banking environment and change projectsStakeholder management experience, especially impactful communication, influencing and running project governance implementation, change management and benefits realizationImplementation, change management and benefits realization. Working across cultures and in matrixed organizational structures Knowledge of English, ability to communicate in a written and spoken way.
