Assistant Project Manager - Distribution Transformers About the Role Location Mexico Queretaro Santiago de Queretaro Company Siemens Inmobiliaria de Organization Grid Technologies Business Unit Sales Full / Part time Full-time Experience Level Mid-level Professional A Snapshot of Your DayThe Assistant Project Manager is responsible for leading the execution of certain Distribution Transformer orders to include contract management, scheduling, customer interaction and updating and financial management.Other duties will include supporting requests for warranty support from customers for all projects, scheduling and collaborating with Service team, soliciting scope of work from factories and supervising all financials related to repairs.This position will work with global transformer factory project management teams, business development, marketing, logistics, proposal specialists, and contract administrators to ensure safe and compliant delivery of transformers for the Siemens Energy US customer base.How You'll Make an ImpactActivities include development of overall project schedule, project plan, communication plan, contract management, project financial performance/budget, identification/management of risk and maintaining project risk register as well as identifying and implementation of lessons learned.Lead calls with customers to provide status updates and help close out deliveries and orders.Coordinate with factory personnel to track status of orders and update master schedules accordingly.What You BringPosition requires experience in project planning, scheduling, communication, execution, coordination, administration, and documentation, with a commitment to customer satisfaction and maintaining project cost control.Good organizational skills to respond to multiple inquiries in a timely and professional manner.Ability to work well in teams interacting routinely with finance, marketing, and field service operations to achieve a common goal.Has a clear understanding of the sold product (reviews, understands, and ensures compliance with required contract documents including commercial and technical specifications, scope, schedule, and performance requirements).5+ years' experience in related field
