**Description**This position maintains communication with MLU, NOC to ensure the speeding up of workevents to set out or add locomotives, distributed power assembly or multiple locomotives, placement or removal of end train devices, as well how to monitor the arrival time of departure crews (crew change point).**Accountabilities**- Makes decisions in reference to locomotives and / or trains so that delays are not caused as well as in movements of the hostler for movements in trains with problems such as failures or poorly formed.- Trouble-shoots and reset locomotive issues.- Performs minor locomotive repairs including air brakes.- Links and unlinks troubleshoot DP locomotives. Employees must have the ability and willingness to support critically important railroad operations 24 hours per day/7 days per week, working various shifts as assigned. Schedule assignments may include after-hours, weekends and holidays.- On-call responsibilities are an essential function of this job. Employees must have the ability and willingness to support operations of critically important systems and/or processes 24 hours per day/7 days per week.
