Then this may be the opportunity for you!About the roleLead procurement for our Agriculture operation in one or more categories of spend, through effective business partnering and teamwork across Procurement CoE.Procurement spending in this category has a HIGH degree of complexity due to market conditions, increased demand internal and market, and the impact on the continuous operation of the Distillery, follow the strategy for this category as Local and Global. The Procurement Manager role is aligned to categories, which require a degree of flexibility in leading data needs across all of them.Design and implement organizational transformation processes where internal control processes and standardization of good practices are implemented with their internal key partners.To handle an area of spend to deliver Diageo's Procurement imperatives, by leading the creation of outstanding category strategies which;- Optimize value returned to the business- Meet the business needs of each market and deliver the required levels of performance- Mitigate supply risk- Drive forward thinking to future proof the business delivery- Support the Sourcing in Agriculture for Own Agave to deliver value for Diageo on cost and broader value terms.- Leverage in-depth knowledge and insight of supplier base to deliver against Market important metrics- Maintain strong insight into the Political, Economic, Social, Technological, and Environmental complexities across the Market and Supplier base- Build effective category strategies and tactical plays to lead the supplier base across of agriculture Category.- Handle appropriate operational and financial performance relationships with suppliers.- Implement and embed Supplier Performance Management framework to ensure that contracts deliver value through cost reduction and improved service and quality performance- Ensure that Supplier Performance levels continue to improve to meet wider Diageo needs and support key projects & initiatives- Stimulate Supplier Capabilities to generate ideas for the future.**Requirements**:- 5 years of Procurement experience in leading suppliers Progressed through Procurement Manager, Supplier Performance Manager, Agriculture Manager, Sr. Supplier Performance Specialist, Sr. Category Specialist,. Other progression routes would be through roles with a Planning, Operations and Agriculture background and a broad range of experience in negotiations and supplier management experience within a Commercial FMCG environment- Build a positive relationship, Influencing skills, and challenge senior partners to gain credibility quickly with key partners- Exceptional communication skills, verbal, written, and presentation.- Analytical solid and Financial awareness including a comprehensive understanding of the AOP requirements and financial goals & value drivers aligned to the category strategy- Experience of leading negotiations with suppliers- Capability to handle complex and multiple categories- Building and ensuring the execution of the strategy in the procurement category.- Capabilities to present and analyze data and presented in slides with local and global team.- Values and practices integrity and ethics in all job-related relationships.- Ability to implement supplier and process change- Strong coaching capability and ability to prioritize and manage a multifaceted agendaWe offer stellar benefits!Worker Type:RegularPrimary Location:GuadalajaraAdditional Locations:La PrimaveraJob Posting Start Date:2023-09-05
