In this role, you will be responsible for managing the company's accounts receivable process and ensuring timely and accurate billing. As an AR Billing Specialist, you will play a crucial role in maintaining strong financial health by ensuring that all customer invoices are generated and processed efficiently.What You'll Do- Generate and process accurate and timely invoices to customers based on sales contracts, purchase orders, or other supporting documents.- Review sales orders and contracts to ensure proper billing terms, pricing, and payment terms.- Monitor and maintain billing records, including verifying the accuracy of billing data and resolving any discrepancies or issues that arise.- Collaborate closely with the sales and customer service teams to ensure accurate and prompt invoicing.- Follow up with customers resolving billing inquiries and managing any billing disputes.- Work closely with internal stakeholders, such as the finance and operations teams, to address any AR-related concerns.- Assist with month-end closing activities, including preparing and reviewing AR-related reports and reconciliations.- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in AR billing processes and systems.What You'll Bring- Proven experience in accounts receivable, billing, or a related financial role.- Strong understanding of accounting principles, billing processes, and best practices.- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to maintain a high level of productivity in a fast-paced environment.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers, internal teams, and management.- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve billing discrepancies or issues.- Self-motivated and proactive individual who can work independently and as part of a team.- Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.- Knowledge of Salesforce is a plus.
