About the role As Strategy & Operations Associate, you will help drive strategic analysis along with supporting continuous improvement of Customer Support and Fraud Operations. You will build key performance indicator reporting, enhance business case development and complete ad hoc projects in support of Customer Support, Fraud Operations, along with the business as a whole. The projects can range from short-term immediate impact projects, like analysis of implementing IVR, to defining success for long term strategic initiatives, such as operational requirements and impacts for a new product or country launch. Reporting to the Strategy & Operations Manager, you will help build a best-in-class S&O function. You should have strong attention to detail and enjoy solving complex challenges and implementing innovative solutions.
As Strategy & Operations Associate, you'll get to: Monitor Customer Support and Fraud KPIs and business drivers, highlighting trends and analyzing underlying causes of variance to goalsWork closely with VP of Ops, Director of Customer Support, and Head of Risk to support cadenced reporting and ad hoc analysisAnalyze performance data, and tie impacts to a financial model, to support strategic decision-making at PangeaIdentify opportunities to increase revenue and minimize opex growth as Pangea scalesDrive the internal and external narrative on Pangea's Customer Support and Fraud performance through reporting in preparation for regular C-suite reviewsRun ad hoc projects that are often data-intensive and require comfort with numbers to make decisionsThe ideal candidate will have: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or any other related quantitative field3-4 + years of experience working in Strategy / Finance / Investment Banking / Consulting / Business Intelligence1 year of experience internal at a B2C tech company, preferably in operationsProven quantitative and analytical competency and problem-solving skillsExcellent written and oral communication skills; must be able to communicate effectively across all levels of the organizationAdvanced knowledge of Excel, Powerpoint, and SQL, along with Google Sheets and Google SlidesMust be fluent in both English and Spanish#LI-Hybrid Bonus Points if you have: Experience supporting Customer Support and/or Risk functionsExperience with Looker or other BI/Reporting tools
