JOB SUMMARY: This position has the responsibility to provide supplier quality improvement to support for the cluster of ASCO at Schneider Electric. The primary location will be in Reynosa, Mexico. Also supporting the suppliers base in North America as business requirement. All candidates must be highly driven individuals capable of working independently and must have a passion to drive world class quality within the supply base. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS • Drive proactive quality and delivery improvement with Schneider Electric's supply base. • Accelerate change with cross-functional stakeholders. • Conduct quality system evaluations of new and existing suppliers. • Conduct material process and quality plan audits of existing suppliers as need. • Coach/Train the supply base on Schneider Electric's expectations, systems, and performance objectives. • Responsible for driving APQP, PPAP and Schneider Production Systems. • Work on the long-term solution to eliminate the repetitive issues. • Respond and drive rapid resolution to emergency quality and delivery issues. • Be a leader in the SE new digital world of supplier performances. Qualifications Requirements: Bachelor of Science in Engineering (ME, EE, or IE). 5 or more years work experience in a plant responsible for quality, manufacturing, design Engineering, or supply chain. Bilingual in English and Spanish - preferred Knowledge of manufacturing processes, ISO-, quality control plans and prevnetion methodologies. Knowledgeable and practices on APQP. Hand on and practices PPAP. Knowledge on 8D or roots causes analysis to eliminate systematic issues and drive prevention. Experience performing TS/ISO Audits internally or with suppliers. Prioritizing the critical tasks and be customers advocate for quality and delivery. Self-starter to work as individual or a leader in the project. Lean Six Sigma train. Problem solver and work in a team manufacturing environment. Experiences with Electronics IPC, sheet metal process, metal coating and wire harness.
