Job Details: Job Description: We are seeking a Sr HW Engineering Manager to join the DCAI/Cloud Engineering/Platform HW (PHSE) team. This position will form and lead a cross functional Architecture/Engineering HW team (Board/System, Thermal/Mech, and SI/PI/PD) responsible for delivering Cloud Reference Designs (CRDs).These CRDs will lead/accelerate the adoption of Intel's Cloud Architecture and Solutions with strategic Cloud Service Providers (CSPs).Additionally, this person will be the site leader for the local PHSE staff, responsible for providing onsite leadership and oversight, creating a strong PHSE culture in GDC. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to: Build and lead a competitive Platform HW Team to deliver a robust CRD HW platform.(Once formed) Lead the team in the architecture and design of Intel's CRDs, utilizing strong engineering discipline yielding high quality designs.Create a clear team charter, R and Rs, and OKRs that will feed into the greater org's OKRs.Role model and foster a strong team culture that is disciplined, dynamic, innovative, inclusive, and collaborative.Own both team and employee growth by providing guidance on employee development, performance, and a build a strong TLP (Tech Leader Pipeline).Work with key partners to be the CSP voice/feedback loop to the greater Intel (i.e., Influence future products, improve current and future PDGs, CSP challenges and roadblocks, etc.) developing deep and trusting relationships, to ensure project success.Manage the team's headcount and budget within targets, including lab resources.Site leader for the GDC PHSE team, owning all site related management duties. Qualifications:Minimum Qualifications, Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position: Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of experience or master's degree with 5+ years of experience in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent field. +5 or more years of experience: Managing a technical team and leading the development of HW solutions. This should include knowledge of schematic capture, PCB layout, and typical lab tools.Technical knowledge of product development including one or more of the following areas: System Architecture or design, PCB Design, Platform HW Development, Thermal/Mechanical Development, Signal Integrity, Power Delivery/Integrity, Platform Validation.Working with Systems Engineering principles, methods, and techniques.With requirement engineering, system integration methods and techniques.Designing SoC systems including High Speed Memory and High Speed I/O.Advanced English level. Preferred Qualifications, Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates: Working in the Semiconductor Industry.Previous experience in Platform/System designs for Data Center market, CSPs, or Enterprise Server.Experience in CPLD/FPGA designs.
