**LOCATION**Mexico City, Mexico**STARTING DATE**Next possible starting date**CONTRACT TYPE**Delegation / Local contract**DEPARTMENT**RDME - Reservoir Management**WORKING HOURS**Full-time**REFERENCE CODE**1372**What you can expect**- Perform production engineering tasks for operated or non-operated assets.- Production engineering inputs to development projects according to SubSurface governance (i.e. Reservoir Evaluation Directive).- Participation in framing sessions, peer assists and project reviews for producing fields, exploration, and development projects.- Design and optimize well's performance (producers and injectors) though the elaboration of nodal analysis, tubing size selection, sandface completions screening, critical rates (friction/erosion/drawdown control) for deviated, slanted and horizontal wells.- Design and support DST operation for offshore wells, including wells test design and interpretation.- Contribute to integrated modeling projects with production engineering input, e.g. well design, artificial lift design, lower completion, creating VFP's as input for reservoir models.- Performs selection and design of the suitable artificial lift systems for onshore and offshore fields, focusing on gas lift, sucker road, jet pump,- ESP's among others; artificial lift optimization for implemented technologies.- Analysis and optimization of oil and gas gathering systems for onshore and offshore facilities, including production system debottlenecks.- Generate surveillance plan for onshore and offshore wells to optimize wells' productivity through data gathering and interpretation.- Application of Production Chemistry best practices to prevent or remediate flow assurance issues.- Close collaboration with facilities team to minimize flow assurance problems in wells and facilities.- Interface with 3rd parties for fluid analysis or industry studies and JIP.- Technical engagement with Wintershall Dea Partners.- Be part of a team of experts having a culture of sharing knowledge and learning from each other. Ensure compliance with the HSEQ management system in its area of responsibility, conducting HSEQ activities including quality, process safety & environmental engineering.**What we expect**- We expect his position to start no later than August 1st 2024.- Over ten (10) years of relevant experience in oil & gas operations focused in production optimization activities (production engineering).- Experience in different artificial lift design and optimization methods: Gas lift, SRP, HJP, ESP- Strong competencies integrated production modelling tools (Petex suite, Pipesim,)- Knowledge of relevant technologies for inflow and outflow optimization, stimulation, enhanced perforating, enhanced well treatment techniques, etc.- Previous experience in both offshore (platform operations and subsea) and onshore projects- management skills, negotiation, communication, etc.)- Team lead, able to work and manage a multi-disciplinary team- Strong written and oral skills to efficiently communicate ideas, plans- Teamwork and collaboration with different stakeholders- Ability to work independently and as a team player- Strong problem-solving capacities- Detail-oriented focus on reaching the tasks/objectives proposed.- Proficient in English and Spanish (written & spoken.
